Bargaining Update 5/23/24

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

Your bargaining team met Tuesday, May 21st with District Administration. Progress was made including reaching a TA on Article 10:  Transfers and Reassignments. Some highlights of that article include increasing release time and/or OT pay for change in assignments. We also established criteria for involuntary transfers, including seniority date and special skills.

We made some progress on hours of employment and evaluations. ISP and shared decision making are going to require more conversations. ETA did counter Article 15: Wages, Health, and Welfare and is now awaiting a counter proposal from the district.
